Food for All
At LegMed Foundation and Research, we believe that good health begins with good nutrition. Our “Food for All” initiative is committed to fighting hunger and malnutrition by ensuring that vulnerable individuals and families have access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food.
Through community kitchens, ration distribution drives, nutrition support for children and pregnant women, and emergency food relief, we reach those most in need including the homeless, daily wage earners, and disaster-affected communities. We also conduct nutrition awareness programs to educate families on healthy eating and food safety.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, volunteers, and partner organizations, Legmed has served over [insert number] meals, supported [insert number] families, and reached [insert number] districts/regions to date. Together, we are building a future where no one goes to bed hungry.
Why Food?
Access to nutritious food is not just a basic human need—it is the foundation of good health. At Legmed Foundation and Research, we recognize that without proper nutrition, healthcare alone cannot improve lives. Malnutrition weakens immunity, impairs growth in children, increases the risk of disease, and limits the effectiveness of medical treatment.
That’s why our “Food for All” mission goes hand-in-hand with our healthcare efforts. We focus on ensuring food security for the most vulnerable—children, pregnant women, the elderly, the homeless, and those living in poverty or affected by crisis. Because no one should have to choose between food and health. At Legmed, we work to make both a reality.
What We Do
At Legmed Foundation and Research, our “Food for All” initiative delivers targeted nutrition support to those who need it most. We work on the ground to fight hunger, reduce malnutrition, and promote food security through a range of impactful programs.
- Community Kitchen
The Community Kitchen program by Legmed Foundation and Research is a cornerstone of our commitment to ending hunger with dignity and compassion. These kitchens provide freshly cooked, nutritious meals every day to the most vulnerable homeless individuals, daily wage workers, the elderly, and those living in poverty.
Our community kitchens are run by trained staff and volunteers who ensure that every meal is prepared hygienically and served with care. Beyond nourishment, these kitchens serve as safe spaces where people feel seen, supported, and respected. By addressing immediate food insecurity, our Community Kitchens create a foundation for health, stability, and hope in the lives of those who need it most.
- Food on Wheels
Food on Wheels is Legmed Foundation and Research’s mobile food distribution initiative that brings hot, nutritious meals directly to the doorsteps of those who need it most. Operating through specially equipped vehicles, this program reaches the homeless, migrant workers, slum dwellers, and disaster-affected communities especially in areas with limited access to food.

By taking food to the people, this initiative reinforces our belief that dignity begins with a full stomach and compassionate outreach.
- Ration for Dignity
